WHEREAS, through its condemnation of certain property
in its widening of 8th Street in Saint Paul, the City became
vested with an interest in a private alley in that area that
is not in use ; and
WHEREAS, the landowner, The Northland Company, is
presently registering the land outside of the street area
and has requested the City' s consent to such registration
free and clear from the private alley,
Now, Therefore , be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
that the City hereby consents to the registration, and the
proper City officers are authorized and directed to execute
any and all documents necessary for the Northland Company to
obtain title to its property free and clear from the alley
easement.
