Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application of the
Theodore Hamm Brewing Company for a permit to install a
55-car parking lot on property located on the southeast
corner of Drewry Lane and East Minnehaha Avenue. This
property is further described as:
Lots 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13,
Block 2, Irvine's Second Addn.
This matter was considered at the July 2, 1970, Board
of Zoning meeting. The staff reported that the Traffic
Engineer has reviewed the plan and recommends approval,
noting that the two existing drives are below present
standards at 22 feet in width. The staff noted that the
lot has been in existence for some years and that all other
features of the plans meet current design standards.
Consequently, the Board, by a 5-0 vote, recommends
approval of this application.

B. AREA IONING: The zoning in the ad�jacent area is Light atid Heavy Industry.
C. DESIGN STANDARDS: The existing parking lot meets the design standards presently
in force. The entrance and exit driveways met the standards at the time of
construction. The lot has a bituminous surface, poured concrete curbing with
protective fence adjacent to a railroad cut. The lot is landscaped.
D. FRONTAGE AND AREA: The parking lot has an irregular shape with a frontage of
130 feet along Drewry Lane. The area of the pending lot is approximately
25,000 square feet.
P:. TRAFFIC ENGINEER: The Traffic Engineer has reviewed and approved the plans ,
