The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commisaioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having consideared said report, her+eby resolves: �
1. That the said report and the same is her�eby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Cou,ncil recommends is
to condemn and take aa easemeat in the 1a�d necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of rewoval of lateral s�pport fro� snbject land or reaainder thareof,
occaaioaed by;exaav�ati�a thereof or coastructi+on o� slcpea i;n the gradiag and snrfacing
with biti�inous material the alley ia B1e�ck 5, Lane's Sighiand �ark and Byraes 8earrange-
ment from 2� feet east o� the West line of I,�ot 6, Byrnes' $�earrange=e�t to Hove11 Street,
(G-1925), in accordanc� with the blueprint hereto attached and made a part hereof, the
hatched portio�s shc�wing the cuts and the shaded portions sho�ing the filla, ,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 2100,fl4
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on thp 25tt, day of
�gl�t, 19�0 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.�., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. '�hat the Commisaioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating ths time and place of
. hearing, the nature of:the improvement and,the tot�,l co�t thereof as estimated.
