adverse weather conditions making it too late in the season to seal coat it was

not possible to complete the contract by said date of completionj therefore be it

� i � RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to execute an a�end�ent to said contract extending the ti�e of
cowpletion to July 3, 1970, provided liowever, that this resolution shall have
no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto
and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it
FURTH�R RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for
liquidated da�ages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.

WHEREAS, The Contrsctor hes pro�ecuted the work diligently but due to
edveree weather conditions making it too late in the season to seal coat it was
