WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller�s Contract L-7204, Citq Froject No.
69-G-1896, for the Grading, Surfacing and construction of Concrete Curb and
Gutter on GRIGGS STRBET from BigeloW Ave. to Donohue Ave., T. A. Schifsky &
Sons, Inc., Contractor, the specified date of completion is July 1, 1970,
and
WHBREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due to
conditions beyond the Contractor�s control it was not possible to co�plete the
contract by said date of co�pletion, therefore be it
RBSOLV�, That the proper City Officials be and theq are hereby authorized
and directed to execvte an amendment to said contract extending the time of
completion to July 17, 1970, provided however, that this resolution shall have
no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto
and file snch consent in writing with the City Co�ptroller, and be it
FURTHF1t RESOLVBD, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for
liquidated damages and that no engineering a8d inspection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such eatended period.
