RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit sarne to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials axe hereby authorized and directed to pro-

To the Commissioner of Finance of the Citq of St. Paul;
The Couunissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File No. 248620 approved
April 29th. 19 70 relative to recoastructiaA the sidewalk and replacing
with inte�ral curb and sidewalk on both sides of Graad Ave. from Oxford St. to
Lexint�ton Ave. and bv doia�t all other �rk vhich is necessarv and incidental to
co�plete said i�provemeat.
and haviag investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $3.80 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wide and $4.60 per lia. ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft, wideo
$1.35 per sq. ft. for iategral cnrb and sidewalk.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said fmprovement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
3. Initiated by the Commissioner of Public Works x
4. Improvement is asked for upon petition
