WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has made application
for a federal grant of �7, 500 for the Summer Youth Transpor-
tation Program; and
WHEREAS, matching fun.ds by the City in the amoun.t of
�2, 500 are required to qualify for said grant; and
WHEREAS, the City was notified on May 26, 1970,
that such grant has been approved, and the National Alliance
of Businessmen, through the Saint Paul Health and Welfare
Council , has arranged for the contribution of the �2, 500
matching funds to the City,
Now, Therefore , be it
RESOLVED� That the p.�oper Gity officers are hereby
authorized and directed to accept said �7, 500 grant for
the Summer Youth Transporta�ion Project, and further to
accept said contribution of �2, 500 from the Saint Paul
Health and Welfare Council as matching funds to secure said
grant.
