PAUL C�LE NCIL NO. � OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK � � OU CIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY � COMMISSIONE DATF RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota recognizes that Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the regulations and policies of the Department of Housing and Urban Development effectuatin� the Title and Executive Order 11063 prohibit discriuination on the ground of race, color, creed or national origin in the policies and practices of any public facility, and on the ground of race, color, or national origin in the policies of any educational institution, or hospital responsible for proposed credit to,the localiCy's share of the cost of an urban renewal pro,ject receiv- ing financial assistance from the United States. The City of Saint Paul hereby assures the United States and the Secr�tary of Housing and Urban Development that the Martin Luther King Co�unity Facility Center and Park will be available to and serve all persons without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.
