COUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM
PRESENTED BY
COMMISSIONE ATF
WHEREAS, the Council, thro�gh its Personnel Committee,
has been negotiating for some time in an effort to arrive
at fair and equitable pay increases for the various City
employees; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the Council has agreed upon a
plan to provide fair and adequate compensation; and
WHEREAS, time does not permit these salary increases to
be put forth in an ordinanee in proper form,to be effecti�e
on December 26, 1970; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Council does hereby express its inteat
to make said pay raises effective on and after December 26, 1970,
and that said ordinance subsequently passed by tl�e Council shall
reflect this intent and purpose.
