1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Pau] has applied for a Raznsey County Soccer Partners Program �rant for the reclamarion and
2 construction of the Sandy Lake Soccer Complex; and
4 WHEREAS, said applicarion was submitted as authorized under CF 03-482, adopted May 21, 2003; and

6 WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Board has approved a grant for $500,000 to the Ciry of Saint Paul for the reclamation
7 necessary for construction (Phase n, and a grant of �500,000 for the construcrion of the soccer fields and associated support
8 faciliries (Phase II) of the Sandy Lake Soccer Complex; and
10 WHEREAS, the Phase II grant is subject to Ramsey County's receipt of bond proceeds in 2004 for the Soccer Partners
11 Program; and

13 NOW TIIEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendation of the Mayor,
14 that $1,000,000 is available for appropriation in the 2003 capita] improvements budget, and said 2003 budget, as heretofore
15 adopted and amended by the Counc�l, is hereby further amended as follows:
