1 WFIEREAS, fhe City of Sainf Paul, Puks and Recreation, in coopemrion with the Highland Area Community Councit, is
2 implementing a project to improve the scenic overlook located on Shepazd Road at the former Highway 5 bridge crossing; and

4 WIIEREAS, Pazks and Recreation has received $500 donations from Larry Hampel and Bob and Sally Couser for the design
5 and contstruction of a sign for the site; and
6
7 WHEREAS, the National Pazk Service has provided funding for the balance of the sign costs through its Mississippi Narional
8 River and Recreation Area subsidiary; and

10 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendarion of the
11 Mayor, and the positive advice of the Long Range Capital Itnprovement Budget Committee, that $1,690.80 is available for
12 appropriation in the 2001 Capital Improvement Budget, and said 2001 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by
13 Council, is hereby fiu�ther amended as follows:
