RESOLVED� By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon
the recommendation of the �t. Paul Long Range Capital Improvement
Budget Committee, the Capital Improvement Budget for the City
of Saint Paul for 1970, as heretofore adopted by this Couneil
and as amended, is hereby further amended in the following
particulars :
That pursuant to action taken on December 29� 1970, whereby
the St. Paul Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee
approved the p�rchase of the lands and buildings known as the
Lowry Hotel, the amount of �7'75,000 is hereby appropriated
from the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund for the purchase
of said land and premises and for no other purpose, said money
to be reimbursed out of the proceeds of the sale of the Cityts
interest in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Sanitary District.

Dear Mayor McCarty:
It is hereby resolved that the Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget
Committee reco�nends to the City Council that the Capital Improvement
Budget for 1970 be amended by appropriating and adding to said Budget
some $775,000 for the purchase of Iand and buildings as set forth in
City Council File 251695 providing for such funds to be advanced from
the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund during 1970, such advance
to be reimbursed from credits to be received in 1971 from the proceeds
of the sale of the City's interest in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Sanitary
District.
