WHEREAS, in proceeding with a publie improvement involving
the widening of University Avenue from Dale Street to Park Avenue
the City of Saint Paul did pass a certain Resolution, C.F. 90541,
approved November 2, 1931, Ratifying and Confirming the condemnation,
which called for the addition of a strip of land twenty feet wide on
the North and South sides of University Avenue; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the condemnation, the City of
Saint Paul did receive a conveyance in fee of twenty feet of land
north of University Avenue by warranty deed on Novernber 17, 1931,
bu't through �rror the land conveyed was i.mproperly described and
was not the land intended to be conveyed in connection with the
condemnation; and
WHEREAS, the present landowner, World War II Post No. 6845, �
Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Incorporated, is in
the process of registering title to its property and in doing so
is willing to exchange a deed of the land that should have been
conveyed to the City in 1931 for a deed from the City of the land
that was mistakenly conveyed; now, therefore, be it
� RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are authorized and
adirected to execute a deed and effect the conveyance of the following
