WHEREAS, The Minnesota State Department of Natural Resources
ha.s adopted Statewide Standards and Criteria for Ma.nagement of
Flood Plain Areas of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS� The said Standards require local governmental units
to adopt flood plain mana.gement ordina.nces meeting the minimum
standards and criteria for flood plain ma.na.gement; and
WHEREAS, The Council desires to appoint a committee for the
purpose of drafting for submi.ssion to the Council such an ordinance;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does �
hereby establish its Mana.gement of Flood Plain Areas Ordina.nce
Committee, consisting of the following members:
Chief Engineer, Public Works, Cha.irman
City Architect
Planning Board Director
; Executive Director, Port Authority
Executive Director, Housing & Redevelopment Authority
