PAUL couNCa '� " OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK N�E NO. � COUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE DAT� WBEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-9009, Citq Pro3ect No. M-504, for Ornamental Lighting System in Minnesota E-2, Contract B, Census Tract 9 � 10, Collins Electric Construction Company, Contractor, the specified date of completion is November 15, 1970, and WHEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but it was not possible to complete the contract bq said date of com- pletion, therefore be it RESOLVED, That the proper Citq Officials be and are herebq authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending the time of completion to July 25, 1971, provided how- ever, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the Coatractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with the Citq Comptroller, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for liqnidated damages and that no engineering and inspectian costs on this project will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
