ARCHITECTUR.AL SERVICE AGREEMENT
ADDENDUM D �
Attached hereto and incorporated herein by refer-
ence are all the terms and conditions contained in that
agreement dated August 25, 1g67 , between Convention
Center Architects and Engineers , Inc. , and the City of
Saint Paul .
j�'HEREAS, under Addendum B to said Agreement
as amended by a First Amendment thereto , Convention Center
Architects and Engineers , Inc. (Associate Archi�Lect ) has
performed all services to be rendered by it as Associate
Architect up to this date , which includes approval of
working drawings and specifications with respect to the
Sub-project (2 ) New Arena for Civic Center, such services
having been completed to the satisfaction of the City of
Saint Paul , and
j�REAS, it has now been determined by the Civic
Center Authority and the City of Saint Paul that the site
of the arena is to be changed, which 'ch ange of site neces-
sitates the performance of services in addition to those
contracted for by Associate Architeet, and
WIiEREAS, additional work. has heretofore been per-
formed in this regard by Associate Architect and certain
out-of-pocket costs incurred for which it has not been
compensated,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as Tollo�as : �
1. Associate Architec�; shall continue to proceed
with the performance of professional services under the
direction of the Civic Ceni�er Authority in respect to

City of Saint Paul ' s determination to change the new
arena' s location from that originally contemplated.
The Associate Architect shall be compensated for all
services heretofore and hereafter performed in respect
to such change of site at the rate of two and one-half
(2 1/2) times direct personal expense as that term is
defined under Article XIII of said Agreement . In addi-
tion, the Associate Architect shall Ue reimbursed for all
expenses incurred by it at the request of the Civic Center
Authority i.n connection with such services iri addition to
the fees specified in the preceding sentence . This shall
include a.ctual expenditures made by Associate Architect
or its employees in respect to the work covered by this
Addendum D and would include expenses of reproductions ,
handling and postage of drawings and specifica�Lions, and
any other miscellaneous expense . .
2. Payment for the foregoing shall be made by
the City of Saint Paul upon receipt of billing for services
performed to the date of billing , which bill shall include
the expenses incurred during the l�eriod covered by said
billing, which has been approved by �he Civic Center
Authority. The Associate Architec� shall submit bills
on a monthly . basis to the City of Saint Paul in respect •
to the services performed under this Addendum D, the first
such bill to include services performed and expenses in-
curred by Associate Architect upon direction of the Civic
Center Authority prior to the clate hereof in connection
with said change of location.
