In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk and replace with integral curb and
sidewalk on both sides of West Seventh Street from James Avenue to Toronto Street and
by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improve�nent,
under Preliminary Order ?4A469 ,approved A,pril 17, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having reeeived the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said"report and the same is hereby approved and.adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk and replaee with integral curb and sidewalk on both
sides of West Seventh Street from James Avenue to Toronto Street and by doing all
other work which is neeessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except .
where good and sufficient poured sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, a.nd that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.8Q I P* �i*+ ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide walk
$ 1.35 per sq ft for inte. curb & walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 22nd day of
Ju1;.r1,470 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissfoner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total co�st thereof as estimated.
