In the Matter of -reconstructing the sidewalk on the north side of University
Avenue from Wheeler Street to Fairview Avenue, a sma11 portion of which will be
replaced with integral curb• and sidewalk and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said i�provement,
under Preliminary Order � 248616 approved A�,1 29, 197�
The Council of tl�e City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commiasioner of Finaace
upon the above, improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvemen� whieh the Council recommenda is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the north side of University Avenue from Wheeler
Street to Fairview Avenue a small portion of which will be xeplaced with integrai ,

curb and sidewalk and by doi.ng all- other work which is necessary and incidental to �
complete said improvement, except where good a�d sufficient poured sidewalks now
exis.t, .
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 3.80 ger lin ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6'wide wslk
$ 1.30 per sq ft for inte curb & walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 22nd day of
Julv, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'c�lock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Ha.11 Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total c�o�t thereof as estimated.
