WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, by resolution, C. F. No. 229573,
approved July 22, 1966, did authorize the execution and filing of an application with the
Department of Iiousing and Urban Development, United States Government, for a �rant in aid
pertaining to construction of additions to the Saint Paul water treatment plant and
pumping station, and said resolution named Bernard T. Holland, then President, Board of
Water Commissioners, as the authorized representative and authorized and directed him to
furnish information to said Depaxtment of Housing and Urban Development; and,
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, by resolution, C. F. No. 239�77,
approved June 19, 1968, amended Council Resolution No. 229573 to name Robert F. Sprafka
the authorized representative as Mr. Sprafka became President of the Board of Water
Commissioners on June �+, 1968; and,
`-WfiEREA,S, Effective June 2, 1970, Leonard W. Levine beca.me President of the Board
of Water Commissioners replacing Robert F. Sprafka; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That resolution, C. F. No. 239077, approved June 19, 1968, be hereby
superseded a.nd that Leonaxd W. Levine be named authorized representative and authorized
and directed to furnish such information as the Department oY Housing and Urban Uevelop-
ment may reasonably �equest in connection with the subject grant,
be it '
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certified
copy of this resolution to be mailed to the Department of Housing and Urban Development,
to be made part of their official files.
