The Council of the City af St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. -
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk and replace with iutegral curb and �idewalk aa the south
side of IImiversity Ave. fram Prior Ave. to Lynnhnrst Av�. and by doiug all other
a�ork �hich is nece�sary aad ineidental to cc�plete said i�proveneat, exce.pt where
��oo� and s�fficient ponred sidewalks no� exist.
with no alternatives, and�that the estimated cost thereof is $3.80 per lia. ft. for 5' walk
$4.60 per lin. ft. for 6' �alk
$1.35 per �. ft. for integral curb and
sideaal�C.
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 3 ls t day of
March 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
� said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estima�ed.
