MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
This Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter "MOU") is made and entered into this
� day of c��/ �C , 2003, by and between the City of Saint Paul (hereinafter "City"),
and the AFSCME Loca13757 - Legal to modify Articles 2 and 13 of the 2003 - 2004
Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and AFSCME Loca13757 - Legal.
The parties understand and agree to the following:
Article 2 of the Collective Bazgaining Agreement shall be modified by adding the
following:
2.6 For any employee who is eligible to receive severance from the City under
this Article, the City will contribute 105% of the full amount of their
severance payment to a post-employment health plan in lieu of any cash
payment to the employee.
2. Articie 13 of the Coliective Bazgaining Agreement shall be modified by adding
the following:
13.5 For any employee who is eligible to receive compensation for unused
vacation at separation from the City under this Article, the City will
contribute 100% of the full amount of such payment to a post-employment
health plan in lieu of any cash payment to the employee.
This MOU shall be effective for all employees who separate from the City on or after
June 20, 2003.
