The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of �nance
_ upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same ia hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement .
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That th� nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to rec�n�truct the sidc�alk oa both sides of Batee Ave. fros �. Fonrth St. to E. Siath
St. at�d by �oing all other Work which is tiec�aaary and incide�tal to complete said
improveaent, ezcegt vhere good and aufficient poured sidetialks ava exist.

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 2Sth day of

said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
