WHEREAS, Comptroller�s Contract L-7158, Project No. 69-M-481 ,
B �. R Construction Company, Contractor for the 1969 Annual Sidewalk
Contract "District No. 3", has been substantially completed, and
WHEREAS, Said Contractor requests that a portion of the 5�
retained under the contract from estimates for work done, be paid in
advance of the fPnal completion of the contract, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department
of Public Works approve the payment at this time of $2,144.56 of the
$3,b�+�+.56 reta i ned; therefore be i t
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are he�eby
authorized to pay an estimate in the amount of $2,144.56 from'°the
retained percentage of $3,644.56 to said Contractor; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's Bond consent thereto
in writing and file such consent with the City Compt�oller.
