1 WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Pazks and Recreation is managing the construction of a Skate Park in Merriam
2 Pazk; and

4 WHEREAS, STAR Neighborhood Inveshnent Program funds in the amount of $100,000 have been pledged by Council
5 Member Benanav for the complerion of tlus project; and

7 WHEREAS, Pazks and Recrearion is willing to provide construcflon management and unplementation services upon the
8 amendment of the 2003 Capital Improvement budget; and

10 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendarion of the
1 I Mayor, and the positive advice of Yhe Long Range CapiYal Improvement Budget ComznifYee, thaY $100,000 is available for
12 appropriation in the 2003 Capital Improvement Budget, and said 2003 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by
13 Council, is hereby fmther amended as follows:
