1 WHEREAS, under the Minnesota Laws of 2003, Chapter 128, Article 1, Section 9, Subdivision 6(d), which includes an
2 appropriarion to the Metropolitan Council for Regional Pazk and Open Space Development gants; a grant to the City of Saint
3 Paul has been awazded to provide partial funding for the conshucrion of a ll 0 space pazking lot off of Water Street just south
4 of tfie Hamet Island Levee, and to revet 4001ineal feet of [he Mississippi River shareline; and
3 WI�REAS, the balance of the project funding has been proposed in the 2004 capital budget bill request; and
6 WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation is willing to pmvide consWction management and implementarion services for said
7 Harriet Island / Lilydale Improvements upon the amendment of the 2003 Capital Improvement Budget; and
9 NOW TE�REFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendarion of the
10 Mayor, and the positive advice of the Long Range Capihal Improvement Budget Committee, that $137,000 is available for
11 appropriation in the 2003 Capital Improvement Budget, and said 2003 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by
12 Council, is hereby further amended as follows:
