WIiEREAS, Comptroller's Contract L-7197, Pennig Construction Company, Contractor
for the CONSTRUGTION OF ALLEYS, Project No. 69-G-1923, hes been substentially com-
pleted, and
WHEREAS, Said Contractor requests that a portion of the 15x retained under the
contrect from estimates for work done, be peid in advance of the final completion
of the contract, end
WHEREAS, The Commissioner aad Chief Engineer of the Department of Public Worke
apgrove the payment at this time of $5,000.00 of the $6,000.00 retained; therafore
be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Of£icials be and they are hereby anthorised to
pay an estimate in the amount of $5,000.00 from the retained percentage of $6,000.00
to said Contractor; and be it
FURTHER BESOLVED, That this resolution shall have no force or effect unless
the sureties on tbe Contractor's Bond cons�nt thereto in writing and file such
consent with the City Comptroller.
