Marshall City Clerk Room 386 City Hall Dear Mr. Marshall: This is written in response to the application of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association for a parking lot permit for 40 cars. The property is located on the south side of East Fifth Street between Cedar and Minnesota Streets and is further described as: Lots 3 and 4, Block 19, St. Paul Proper Addition. The Board of Zoning considered the application at its regular meeting on December 4, 1969. The staff reported that new plans had been requested from the bank that would meet design standards and be acceptable to the Traffic Engineer. Mr. Jim Hart of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority said the lot was a temporary use and would present no problems to downtown development. The Board of Zoning moved to approve the application subject to the staff and Traffic Engineer's approval. Subsequently, the Board passed the motion for approval by a 5-0 vote.
