WHEREAS, The Gouncil Investigation and Research Bureau is
a vital and important arm of the Council, which has capabilities
of providing the Council with independent studies and data
regarding legislative matters before it; now� therefore , be
it
RESOLVED� By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that
there is hereby established a Committee on Research and Manage—
ment, to consist of the Mayor as Chairman and three other members
designated by the Mayor, which shall have full power to direct
the activities of the Council Investigation and Researeh Bureau,
subject always to the control of the Council; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� That the prior Resolution of this Council,
Council File No . 236566, approved January 10, 1968, is hereby
rescinded.
