WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
the City Architect that the va.cant and open b-uildings located at:
252 N. Lexington
-in the City of Saint Paul are a proximate hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; an:d
WHERE.AS, the last known record owners of said property are:
Donald T. and. Diane Boyce, 2049 S. Utaha Ave. , S. , Mpls.
-and said o�v�iers hav� failed to secure the same against entry by unau�horized
persons in vio.lation of 5ection 192, 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, and
said vacan� and open buildings have been found and determined by the Council
o� t�e City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health, v✓elfare
and safety and a. public nui�ance wriich rnust be immediately abated to prevent

P�ESOLVED, trat �he City Architect xs authorized and directed to
immediately secure said buildings Uy the, use of contract labor under Contract
No. 7358 pending proceedings under the Hazardous Buildings Act; and be it
FUP,.THER RESOLVEll, tl�at the expense o£ securing such buildings be
paid from FLU1d No. 0979-269, Sumcnary Abatement, and tha.t the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reinzburse sai.d fund by
action against the o�,vner of said property.
