In the Matter Of reconstructing the sidewalk on the West side of Clark Street
between York Avenue and Whitall Street abutting Lot 4, Block 6, ndmund Rice's First
Addition ONLY and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 249949 approvp� Ju1q 3�, 1970 ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having xeceived the report of the Commissianer of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.

2. That the nature of the improvement whicTi the�ouncil reeommends is �
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Clark Street between York Avenue
- and Whitall Street abutting Lot 4, Block 6, Ed�und Rice's First Additian ONLY and
by doing all other Work which is neceasary and incidental to camplete said improvenent,
except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks naw exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $��er 1 in ft fer a 5' vide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide �ralk
Resolved Ftirther, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the Rth day of :

House and City Ha11 Building in the City of St. PauL That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
