In the Matter of ' constructing sideWalk on the south side of St. Anthonq .Avenue
from Beverly Road to Cretin Avenue and by doing all other �ork Which is necessary
and incidental to camplete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order " �497h� approved :ruly 21� 1970 ,
The Council of.the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commisaioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to construct sidewalk on t�ie south side of St. Anthoay Avenue from Beverly Road
to Cretin Avenue and by doing all other work which is necessazy and incidental to
camplete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sideWalks now
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per lin ft for a 5' Wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8th day of
september� 197p , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.1VI., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the.Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total co�t thereof as estimated.
