WHFRBAS, In the �atter of Comptroller�s Contract L-7193, City Project No.
69-P-0389A, for Grading and Yaving FRIOR AVENUE from Marshall Avenue to Roblyn
Avenue, Pederson Bros. Ce�ent Contractors, Inc., Contractor, the specified ti�e
of completion is June 1, 1970, and
WIiEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the �rork diligently but due to
circwestances beyond the Contractor's control it wes not possible to cocnplete
the contract by said date of completion, therefore be it
RS30LVED, That the proper City Officiels be and they are hereby authorized
and directed to egecute an amendment to said contract extending the tine of
completion to Julq 31, 1970, provided however, that this resolntion shall have
no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto
����and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it

� FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for
liquidated da�ages and th8t no engineering and inspection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
