In the matter of condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject
land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes
in the grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in Michel and Robertson�s
Addition to St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota from I.S. 35E to Chatsw�rth Street (G-1937),
under Preliminary Order 248703 , approved May 5, 1970 _,
Intermediary Order 7�.9209 , approved Tun 9� 1970 ,
Final Order , 249582 , approved J�1�7T7 q7� .

The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to tlie amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the sa,id assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved furthet•, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits;�at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
ninth day of���te�b£Y� 1970 _— , at ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
