In the matter of changing the grade of the Easterly North-South alley in Blk. 4, J. R.
Weides 2nd Addition to the City of St. Paul fram Hyacinth Avenue to Ivy Avenue, also
the East-West alley of Block 4, J. R. Weides 2nd Addition from 130 feet West of the
Easterly North-South alley to conform to the grade as shawn o� the profile on file
in the Department of Public Works.
Also, condemning and takiug an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts
and fills, including right of re�oval of lateral support from sub�ect land or r�ainder
thereof, uccasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading
and surfacing with bitua►inous material the Easterly North-South alley in Blk. 4, J�.R.:,.
Weides 2nd Addition to the City of St. Paul from Hyaeinth Avenue to Ivy Avenue, also

The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
P�esolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
1�aenty-fifth day_of February, 1970 _ _� , at ten dclock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
