under Preliminary Order 246773 approved December 23, 1969' ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commiasioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having cansidered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to xeconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Syndicate St. from Lincoln Ave. to
Grand Av��. and by doing all vther work which is necessary and incidental to camplete
said improvement, except where good and sufficient ponred sidewalks naw exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is� 3.60 per lin. ft. for 5' walk
4.80 per lin. ft. for 6� walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 17th day of
February, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'elock A.M., in the Cauncil Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Chaxter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total co,st thereof as estimated.
