In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides of Farrington St. from
Lawson Ave. to Cook Ave. and by doing sll other work which is necessary and incidental

under Preliminary Order 246732 approved Dece�aber 18., 1969
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having conaidered said report, hereby resolves:
1.� That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the aaid improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sid�walk on both sides of Farrington St. from Lawson Ave. to
Cook Ave. and by doing a11 other work �hich is necessary and incidensal to cemplete
said improvement, except Hhere good and sufficient poured sidewalks e►ow exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 3•80 per l in. f t. for 5' walk
$ 4. per n. ft. for. 6' walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 17 th day of
February� 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance �ive notice of
s�aid meeting to the peraons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature o� the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
