The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and hav�ing considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa,id report and the sam�e is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends ia
to condemn and take an easement in the'`l�nd neceseary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of reaioval of lateral suppqrt from subject land or re�ainder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof or construation of slopes in the grading and aurfacing

and made a part hereof, the hatched portions showing 'the cuts and the shaded portions

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 200:UO
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on'the lOth day of
February, 1970 ; at the hour of 10 o'elock A.M., in the Councit:Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
