WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 203.3 of the City Charter the Comptroller
has reported to the City Council that there are presently funds available in
the Fund Balance - Debt; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the recent City Bond Issue ($20,500,000.00)
was substantially larger than anticipated and therefore additional appropriations
are needed to meet these additional expenses; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the appropriations in the 1970 Budget for Debt in Charter
Fund 28 - Bond and Note Interest are hereby increased as follaws:

Honorable Mayor Charles P. McCarty

Gentlemen:
In reviewing your request of September 29, to determine necessary
budget revisions, it has been determined that due to the unusually
large bond issue this year ($20,500,000.00) attendance costs have
made it necessary to request budget revisions for the debt portion
of the City Budget for 1970. A $43,137.00 additional appropriation
is needed which can be financed from the Debt Fund Balance.
I have attached a proposed resolution to accomplish this purpose.

BUDGET FOR 1970
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursua.nt to Saint "Paul
City Cha.rter, Section 203.3, the Saint Paul City Council will hold
a public hearing on the 3rd day of November, 1970, at 10:00 A.M. ,
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall and Court House Building,
Saint Paul,. Minnesota, for the purpose of considering adjustments
to the adopted budget for 1970 to increase certain appropriations .
