RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards an addition to the present contract for furnishing and
installing a11 radio equipment, antennas, coaxial cable, microphone, transmitter and
related installation hardware and materials as necessary to make a complete and
operating system (TWO WAY RADIO SYSTEM) for the Department of Public Utilities, Air
Pollution Control to RCA CORPORATION for the Contract Price of $8,630.00, in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor and Formal Bid ��3988 of said RCA Corporation,
such bid being the lowest and said RCA Corporation being a responsible bidder and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authoriz.ed to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
