Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application
of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for a
permit to install a 44-car parking lot to be used
in conjunction with the Downtown Urban Renewal Project
R-20 on property located on the northwest corner of
Robert and East Sixth Streets. This property is
further r�ascribed as:
Lots 14-15, and part of 16,
Block 4, St. Paul Proper.
This matter was considered by the Board of
Zoning at their September 3, 1970, meeting. The
staff reported that revised plans received that day
meet required design standards and the recommendations
of the staff and Traffic Engineer.
Consequently, the Board of Zoning recommends
approval of this application for a permit by a 5-0
vote.

A. HISTORY: None.
B. AREA ZONING: Commercial. There is Light Industry one block to the north and east.
C. DESIGN ST��NDARDS: Reviaed plana received 9/3/70 meet required design standards
and the recommendations of the staff and Traffic Engineer.
D. FRONTAGE AND AREA: The site has a frontage of 150 feet on North Robert Street
and 130 feet on East Sixth Street. The resulting area is 18,250 square feet.
E. TRAFFIC ENGINEER: The Traffic Engineer has recommended approval subject to a
widened driveway which has been incorporated on revised pl.ans .
F. SITE CONDITIONS: The site is currently vacant of structures and consists of
unfilled basement foundations.
G. AREA CONDITIONS: The site is located within the downtown area and is included
within the Capitol Center Redevelopment Project.
