City Hall St. Paul, Minnesota Dear Mr. Tedesco: The Tenant-Management Association and the youth of Roosevelt Homea reapectfully request that the new playground recently completed on Ames Avenue, and tentatively named Amea Park Playground be named Sackett Park in honor of PatrolAan James T. Sackett, who was recently killed in the line of duty. _ We believe this would be a lasting and proper memorial in his memorq. The Sackett family has been contacted and both wife and father said they would be honored to have the playground named in memory of James T. Sackett. James Sackett was involved with and very much interested in youth and youth activities and a playground in his name would be a fitting memorial. The family has also consented to be present at opening ceremoniea for the playground. We have also contacted an American Legion Post which has graciously conaented to present a flag at the dedication. We sincerely hope that the department of Parks and Recreation will consent to the name of Sackett Park.
