In the Matter of constructing new sidewalk on the north side of Hillsdale Ave. from
McKnight Road to Winthrop St, and by doing all other work which is necessary and inci-
dental to complete said impravement,
under Preliminary Order____ 248379 approyed April 14, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report af the Commissioner of FSnance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to-be proceeded.with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to construct new sidewalk on the north side of Hillsdale Ave. from McKnight Road
to Winthrop St. and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to'
complete said improvement,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3:80 per lin ft for a 5' wide walk
� 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th day of
July, .1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Builcling in the City of St. Paul. That the Comxnissioner of �nance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the titne and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the totaI oost thereof as estimated.
