In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the north side of Morton St. frrnn
Manomin Ave. to Ohio St. and on the south side of Morton St. from Orleans St. to
the west approximately 62 ft, and by doing all other work which is �cessary and
incidental to complete said impronement,
under Preliminary Order- _ ��.8377 ' approved agril 74i t 970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the north side of Morton St. from Manomin Ave. to
Ohio St. and on the south side of Morton St. from Orleans St. to the west approx-
imately 62 ft, and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to �
complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poure� sidewalks now -
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 �er lin ft for a S' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide 'walk
Resolved Further, That �public hearing}�e had on said improvement on the 9th day of
July, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Buildin� in the City of St. PauL That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and plac�e of '
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
