In the Matter of , re�onstructing the aic�walk on both sides of Moore St, fram Carroll
Ave, to Merriam Lane and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvemen�,
under Preliminaiy Order 94R3]� approved April 14, 1970 ,
The Council`of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of F�nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommenda is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Moore St. fram Carroll Ave. to
Merriam Lane and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
compTete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks nc�w
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per lin ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6� wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th , day of
Ju13t-, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Cauncil Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the na,ture of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
