In the Matter of reconstruct'ing the sidewalk on bofih sides of Kent St. from
Wheelock Pkwy. to W. Cottage Ave. and by _�it.ng all other work which is neceseary
and incidenCal to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order_ 248343 approved April 10, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of I+�nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the:said improvement
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Kent St, from Wheelock Pkwy. to W.
.Y.;�;.
Cottage Ave, and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks nata
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3:80 ner�1in ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.6�4 per lin ft for a 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8th day of
Jt+�.� �9Jo , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
. House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as eatimated.
