In the Mattsr of constructing and/or reconstructing the sidewalk on the west side
of White Bear Ave. from Ivy Ave. to Clear Ave. and on the south side of Clear Ave.
fram White Bear Ave. to the west approximately 120 ft. and by doing all other work
whicb�s necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 248342 approved April 10, 1970
The Council of the City of St..Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
� 1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to construct and/or reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of White Bear Avenue
fran ivy Ave. to C]s�r'Ave. and on the south side of Clear Ave. from White Bear Ave.
to the west approximately 120 ft. and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to camplete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured
sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.,R0 n�.r t i n ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin #t`for a 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the $th day of
July, 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chaxnber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,tin� the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improve�nent and the total cost thereof as estimated� �
