In the Matter;of reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides of Cherry St. fram
Bates Ave. to Maria Ave. and by doing all other work which is necessary and inci-
dental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 24834o approve� Anr�l 10, 1970.
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the CounciL recommends is
to reconstru¢t the sidewalk on both sides of Cherry St. from Bates Ave. to
Maria` Ave. and by doing all other work whictyY.s necessary and incidental to com-
plete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks naw exfst,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per lin ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That $public hearing be had on said improvement on the �th day of
Tl,��, �97� , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
