.In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk and replace with integral curb and
sidewalk e� the northweet side of West Seventh St. fram Randolph Ave. to Jamas Ave.
and by doing all other work whi�h is necessary and incidental t o camplete said
improvement,
under Preliminary Order __ 248339 approved Avril 10, 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstru�t the sidewalk and replace with inte�ral aurb and sidewalk on the
northwest side of West Seventh St. from Raniolph Ave, to J�mes Ave. and by doing
all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said impronement, exeept
tahere good and sufficient poured sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3..80 per itn ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6� wide walk
$ 1.35 per sq ft for inte curb & walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 9th day of
July� 1970 , at the hour of 10 dclock A.M., in the Council Chamb�r of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Chaxter, stating the time and place of
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated. ��
