In the Matter of reconstructing Che sidewalk on the north side of Laurel Avenue
from Herschel St. to Wheeler St. and by doing ,all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said impronement,
under Preliminary Order 24g�� approved Anrii 9,. 1970 ,
The Council of the City of St, Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of I+�ii�ce
upon the above improvement, and having cons�dered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the north side of Laurel Avenue- from H,erschel St.
to Wheeler St. and by doing- all other work which is necessary and incidental to
complete said improvemenC, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks ncyw
exist, :
with no alternatives, a�nd that the estimated cost thereof is $ �3.80 per lin ft for a 5' wide walk
$4.60 per li� ft for a 6' wid� walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the lth day of
Ju13t, 1Q70 , at the hour of 10 o'ciock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
Hquse and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Comxnissioner of Finance �ive xtotice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as eatirnated.
