In the Mattsr of reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides of Sehletti Street
from Wheelock Pkwy. to W. Cottage Ave. and by doing all other work which is n�cessary
and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order �48302 approverl A rn i 1 9, �970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon bhe above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be prceeeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Schletti Street from Wheelock Pkwy.
to W. .Cottage Ave. and by dahg all other work which is necessary and incidental
to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks now
exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.80 per 1in ft for a 5' wide walk
$ 4.60 per lin ft for a 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 7th day of
.Tuly, _1970 , , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That' the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total co,st thereof as estimated.
